We move inventory constantly, so stock turns over quickly. Every item ships well within its shelf life. If you need a specific expiration window for resale, tell us when you order and we'll check the current lot before it ships.

It varies a lot by brand. Chamoy-coated gummies and tamarind candies are usually mild-to-medium with more sweet-sour than heat. Chili powders like Tajín are tangy rather than hot. Brands built around heat — think Miguelito or Chilerito — run noticeably spicier.

New to it? Start with a chamoy gummy or a tamarind candy before jumping to the loaded-chili items.

Many of our items contain or are made alongside peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy and wheat — peanut and milk candies are a large part of traditional Mexican confectionery.

We can't guarantee any product is free of a given allergen. Always read the manufacturer's packaging, which is the authoritative source. If you have a serious allergy, contact us before ordering and we'll share what the current packaging says.

Most of it, yes. We carry over 2,000 products across 100+ brands, the majority made in Mexico — Vero, De La Rosa, Lucas, Ricolino, Canel's, Sonrics and many more. We also stock American and international brands our customers ask for.

We ship retail orders through our website and wholesale orders anywhere in the United States. We currently ship within the U.S. only.

Orders are packed within 1 business day, and delivery usually takes 2-5 business days after that depending on where you are. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination — you'll see the exact cost before you pay.

You'll get a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships. You can also check anytime on our Track Your Package page.

No confirmation email? Check your spam folder first, then email us with your order number and we'll resend it.

It's a real risk. Chocolate and some coated candies can soften or bloom in transit during hot months, especially in Texas summers.

From May through September, we can't guarantee chocolate or marshmallow products in transit, and melted or misshapen chocolate and marshmallows aren't eligible for a refund during those months. Delivery trucks and porches get well over 100°F in a Texas summer, and there's no packaging that reliably beats that.

If you're ordering these items in the warm months, choosing the fastest shipping option helps a lot — less time in transit means less time in the heat. Melted chocolate is still safe to eat; it just won't look right. You're also welcome to pick up in person at our San Antonio store any time of year.

No — food and other perishable goods can't be returned, for food safety reasons. That covers nearly everything we sell.

If something arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, that's a different situation and we'll make it right. See the next question.

Photos matter — they let us file a carrier claim and get you replaced fast. We replace defective and damaged items.

Non-perishable items can be returned within 30 days of purchase if they're unused and in original packaging, with a receipt or proof of purchase. Gift cards can't be returned.

Return shipping is your responsibility and isn't refundable. Sale items are final. Full terms are in our Returns & Refunds policy.

For anything over $75, use a trackable service. We can't refund items that don't reach us.

Once we receive and inspect the return, we email you with an approval or denial. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Banks typically take a few business days to post it after we issue it.
